Our Youth Lacrosse Preseason Sessions are the perfect way for players to sharpen their skills, build teamwork, and boost game-ready conditioning before the season begins. With high-energy drills, expert coaching, and tons of fun, these sessions help athletes develop stick skills, game IQ, and confidence—all while reconnecting with teammates and making new friends. The Elk River Youth Lacrosse program aims to establish and foster organized amateur lacrosse in Elk River to encourage the social, physical, mental, and moral development of children ages 8 to 15. The Elk River Youth Lacrosse Association will educate players about sportsmanship, teamwork, fellowship, courtesy, discipline, and integrity through a friendly, competitive lacrosse program to meet this objective.

As parents, part of your role is to make sure that your child is enjoying their lacrosse experience.  Be positive about your child’s participation. Encourage. Support. Volunteer.  Remind your child, AND yourself, that winning is not everything. You and your child will participate in many games over the years, and the friendships and great experiences will certainly outweigh the win/loss record in your child’s memory.
